Pride twin manicures

Today's blog is about a twin manicure I recently did with a friend on Facebook. We had decided  to do a neon pride Mani. We used Wikked polishes that we both had purchased  from there neon collection. I had purchased the stamping plate from beautybigbang i ordered 2 so i could send 1 to my friend. We had also chosen to do a gradient. My friend sent me a picture of what she wanted to do as a accent nail. So between us both we had decided on our twin manicure.
I started with a peel off base coat from Barry M called peel it. Then i add a white base to the ring finger in Orly white tips. I then added Seche Vite fast drying  topcoat to help it dry completely. I put liquid latex around the rest of my nails to help protect my skin from the gradient. I then got a make up sponge and made it damp with water to stop the polish from being sucked up. Then i started to add the polishes to the sponge for the gradient. I then dabbed it onto my nails i did it 3 times on each nail to help blend it all in. Before i remove my latex i use a clean up brush with acetone to clean up around my cuticles. Then i would peel of the latex with some tweezers and do more clean up. I added Seche Vite to blend it more and to help dry it before stamping.  I then started to cut up stripping tape for the ring finger. I started to place the tape onto my nails by starting in the middle of the nail. I then got a small nail art brush and a silicone mat to add a drop of color to paint in the strips. After two colors was added i would remove the tape. Now its time to stamp on the images i used bbb-017 stamping plate with Born Pretty stamper and scrape also there stamping polish in 4 (white). I would place my stamping polish onto the image and scrap it once then i would roll my stamper to pick the image up. I would then line it up onto my nail then roll it over my nail where i wanted the image to be. After i was happy with everything i would seal my design with a generous amount of Seche Vite and cap my free edge to help the manicure to last.
