Throwback Thursday

Today's post is about a old manicure i did in June 2017. Myself and Jo's Nail Art. decided to do a throwback Thursday i chose Jo's manicure and Jo chose mine. So here it is.
I used Born Pretty stamping plate in BPL-024 with Born Pretty stamping polishes in white pink purple yellow orange light green and dark green.
I started of with a base coat i used French No1. Then i placed white stamping polish onto the image i wanted to use and scraped it with my Born Pretty scarper i then roll my Born Pretty stamper to pick up the image and left it on my stamper.

I the place stamping polish  onto a silicon mat i use a small dotting tool to fill in the images and left them to dry completely.
I then add liquid latex around my cuticles to protect them from stamping and waited for it to dry.
I added clear polish onto a make up sponge then i dab it onto the nails.
Then i line up the image and roll it onto my nails.
I use a cuticle pusher to brake the seal around my nails then i peel off the liquid latex..
I then use a angled brush with acetone to do any clean up around my cuticles.
I then add seche Vite fast drying topcoat to seal in my design and leave it to completely dry.
After everything is dry i add my own cuticle oil and massage it into my cuticles.
Now its all done time to take pictures and post it onto social media.

Chevrons With Roses Reverse stamping nail art

Today’s post is about stamping nail art I did for my group on Facebook called All Nail Art

I started with Barry M peel it base coat and my base colour is from Essie in strike a pose-itano

I used a Born Pretty stamping Plate in BP-L006 with Born Pretty stamping polish in white #4 with my Born Pretty stamper and Scraper
.
I add the stamping polish onto the image I’d like to use I then scrape it once and I roll my Stamper over the
image to pick up the image
.
I leave the image on the Stamper. I add a drop of polish onto a silicone mat. The polish is from primark in instagirl in skylight. It’s a pale blue holographic polish. I use a small dotting tool to fill in my image and leave it to dry completely.

I put liquid latex around my cuticles to protect them from stamping and to save on clean up.
I add a clear polish from gallery onto a makeup sponge.
I then dab the sponge onto my nails to help the decal to stick to my nail.
I line up the image and then roll my Stamper over the nail.
I use a cuticle pusher to break the seal around my cuticles and to stop it from tearing of the nail when removing the liquid latex
.
I then peel off the liquid latex with a pair of tweezers.
I then use a angled brush with acetone to clean up around my cuticles.
I’m now using UR sugar plate from Born Pretty in UR-S03. I add pink stamping polish onto Part of the image I want to use.
.
I use a lint roller to remove unwanted polish from the Stamper.
I start placing the Roses around near my cuticle. I add 2 pink roses.
I add a green stamping polish onto a leave image.
.
I place the next to the pink roses to add some character to the image.
I then add red stamping polish to the Rose image..
I place the red in the middle of the 2 pink roses.
.
I finish of with seche vite fast drying Topcoat to seal in my design and I leave it to completely dry. ( the pink stamping polish bleeds really bad even if I used Born pretty no smudge Topcoat)
I add my own cuticle oil and massage into my cuticles. Now they are ready for photos and to be posted on social media.
Here is my final design.

Mickey mouse water decals review

Today's post is a review for Kaz Creations ltd she sent me some mickey mouse water decals.
They come in different sizes so they are suitable for all nail lengths.
I start of with a base coat. I used unt peel off base coat.
Then I add my base color. I used Orly in white tips.I did 2 coats I also used Holler and glow in baby unicorn to give it a pink and blue shimmer. I then left then to dry completely
I choose the decal I want to use and cut it out as close as I can get to the image.
I then place the decal into warm water for about 20 seconds.
I remove the decal from the water then place it onto my stamper and slide the backing paper from the decal. I lightly remove any water with some kitchen towel.
I then line up the decal and place it onto my nail. If there is any decal on my skin I use acetone to melt the decal away.
When i have placed all my decals I use Seche vite fast dry topcoat to seal in the design. I use cuticle oil and massage it into my cuticles.

Here is the final look.

These decals are really easy to use for a quick and easy manicure. There are lots of different design to choose from for long or short nails. Kaz Creations ltd do vinyls, water decals and stickers so you can design lots of fun and cool looking manicures. .

Funky neon nail art

Today blog is about some nail art I did for my son's 18th surprise party. I went with neon as i had gotten some glow sticks and balloons plus my skirt was bright and funky.
I started with  unt peel off base coat and left it to completely dry. I then used Essence brushed metals in 02 can't stop the feeling as my base color. I did 2 coats then i used  Leighton Denny in star dust on the top and left to completely dry. I started to do some reverse stamping using UR-SUGAR stamping plate in UR-L002 with bornprettystore stamping polish in 3 (black) with my Born Pretty stamper & scraper and filled it in with Wikked polishes in beach baby (neon orange) and left them to dry. I then started to stamp wikkid in California gurls (neon pink) triangles in different sizes. Then i did the same with wikkid in club Tropicana (neon green). I then applied some clear polish to a makeup sponge and dabbed it on to my nails to add the decals that i had done earlier. I then decided to add some orange triangles to finish the look off. I then added seche-vite  fast dry topcoat to seal my design.
The photo does not pick up the beautiful sparkle from the essence and the fine holo glitter from Leighton Denny.
